Founded by Antonio Holguin, National Market Director - Material Bank

Antonio brings over a decade of experience in the commercial and healthcare design industry. Through his role at Material Bank, Antonio plays an integral role in shaping the current workplace through sustainability and community engagement. Earning his BFA in Interior Design from the Art Institute and his Master of Education at the University of North Texas he continues to pursue his passion for creating healthier work environments. He is currently the national market director of A&D for Material Bank and has recently published his first book: Adventure of the Arroyo Amigos. This kid's book takes children on a journey to discover sustainability principles they can apply to their every day empowering the next generation to positively impact the planet.

    Tori Wickard, AIA, RID, LEED AP

    Senior Project Architect, Senior Associate - Perkins & Will

    .Tori studied Architecture at the University of Texas at Austin and completed her Professional Residency Program at Kohn Pederson Fox in London. After the passing of her mother to breast cancer in 2014, Tori has become a passionate advocate of transparency and optimization around building materials. She leads the Material Performance Taskforce in the Dallas Studio of Perkins & Will, participates in the Health Product Declaration Collaborative Technical Committee, and serves on the Advisory Board for the American Cancer Society North Texas Area. She firmly believes as an architect it’s her mission to creatively address challenges in the built environment, which includes consideration of environmental and human health impacts.

    Jessica Rosales, RID

    Associate, Senior Interior Designer - Populous


    Jessica Rosales, a registered interior designer with over 14 years of experience in the field, currently holds the position of Senior Interior Designer at Populous. Her expertise is primarily centered around hospitality and workplace design. Jessica is actively engaged in projects from their initial concept stages through construction, overseeing design intent, team coordination, and the selection of material specifications and FFE. She's a champion of sustainability initiatives and is dedicated to educating her colleagues on the significance of specifying healthier materials.

    Perkins & Will Austin | Interiors Tech Designer, Associate

    Heather is a highly skilled registered interior designer specializing in educational facility interiors. After receiving her Masters of Interior Design from the University of Texas at Austin, she joined Perkins&Will.  As an Associate and Interior Technical Designer, she contributes to a diverse range of educational and civic projects, spanning various scales and project phases.  With a comprehensive understanding of the design through the construction process, Heather ensures project execution through meticulous coordination, careful detailing, and thoughtful oversight. 

    Passionate about technical excellence, Heather leads Perkins&Will Austin’s Technical Resource Team, where she provides staff with educational opportunities on technical detailing, drawing standards, code compliance, and workflow processes.  As a member of Perkins&Will’s Material Performance Lab, she educates fellow designers on sustainability and the use of healthy materials. Beyond her professional role, Heather advocates for sustainability by delivering lectures on material health at local universities and serving as the co-chair of the Austin branch of the Texas Materials Initiative.  As a LEED AP with a specialty in Building, Design & Construction, Heather continues to elevate industry standards and promote environmentally responsible design practices through her leadership and expertise.

    Gensler Houston | Senior Associate | Resource Director

    As a globally trained Interior Designer and design industry veteran of nearly 40 years, Susan serves as Gensler Houston’s Resource Director, a position she has held for the last eight years. In one of her many roles at Gensler, she’s responsible for confirming all materials and products represented in the library adhere to the firm’s sustainability standards. This intensely detailed process includes vetting products in predefined categories, training design teams, and collaborating with international and local manufacturers. Additionally, Susan is passionate about researching materials of impact and uses her knowledge to pioneer industry best practices.
